Jeremiah Clark II

  • Revolutionary War Patriot Jeremiah Clark, Jr. (1760-1845) served in the Vermont militia, first as a private in Captain Issac Clark's Company, and later as a corporal in Captain Samuel Robinson's Company, Colonel Herrick's Regiment. Jeremiah Clark, Jr. was born in Preston, New London County, Connecticut on November 3, 1760. He Married Sarah Millington and they had fourteen children, seven sons and seven daughters. He moved to Oakland County, Michigan in 1831, and settled in Independence Township. Jeremiah Clark Jr. died June 1, 1845, in Clarkston, and is buried in the Lakeview Cemetery in Independence Township, Oakland County, Michigan.
