Caleb Pratt (1760-1843) served in the Vermont militia as a private in Captain Gideon Seeger's Company, Colonel Robinson's Regiment, and Colonel Seth Warner's Regiment. Caleb Pratt was born in Hampshire County, Massachusetts, in November 1760. He is known to have one son. He came to Michigan with his son, Captain John W. Pratt, settling in Springfield Township. Caleb Pratt died on May 4, 1843, and is buried in the Andersonville Cemetery located in Springfield Township, Oakland County, Michigan.
