We are excited to announce our upcoming Adopt-A-Road project and we need your help! Join us as we come together to beautify our community by cleaning up a designated stretch of roadway. Your participation will make a significant impact on our local environment and showcase the Jeremiah Clark Chapter's dedication to service. Please consider volunteering your time for this important initiative. Together, we can make a difference!
Our chapter has voted to make July 13th at 9:00 A.M. our cleanup day. This will give us ample time to reschedule to a later date due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances if needed. The summer cleanup period runs from July 13th – July 21st allowing us to reschedule anywhere in this window if needed. Finally, we will need to discuss safety. All participants MUST wear a Hi-Vis safety vest at all times when participating. This rule is NOT negotiable. I will also be discussing all other required safety information at our next meeting in June. I would urge everyone who plans on participating to attend but I will be giving a quick refresher the morning of our cleanup. The Oakland County Road Commission will issue us vests so if you would like to get one through them for the cleanup please email me by July 1st . Even if you will be bringing your own safety vest, confirming your attendance will be helpful. Again, Hi- Vis safety vests are REQUIRED for participation.
