The Jeremiah Clark Chapter held its August meeting with several recognitions and presentations of note.
The meeting began with the swearing in of our newest member, Nick Chapman, with his father Dale Chapman by his side. We were pleased to welcome him into the chapter.
The chapter recognized Compatriot Gordon Duda, who received the Partners in Patriotism Bronze Award. The chapter earned an America 250 Ribbon for participation in the Oakland History Center Ice Cream Social, and Liberty Tree Certificates of Appreciation were presented to Britton Lawless, Ilan Lawless, and Lincoln Malott for their efforts.
Our program for the evening featured Sarah Gardiner, who gave an engaging presentation titled "Fort Michilimackinac and Charles Michel de Langlade." Her talk provided valuable insight into the role of the fort and de Langlade’s place in early American history.
