  • Revolutionary War Patriot Enoch Hotchkiss (1763-1822) sources claim he served as a soldier in the Revolutionary War. Enoch Hotchkiss was born in East Haven, Connecticut, on January 17. 1763. He married Lois Wolcott and they at least four children. He came to Michigan in 1819 and located on a farm in Oakland County. Enoch Hotchkiss died in 1822, and was buried in the orchard on his family farm located in Pontiac, Oakland County, Michigan.
