It was a full and meaningful evening for the Jeremiah Clark Chapter as members gathered on to recognize service, celebrate achievement, and continue preparations for America 250.
We were proud to induct Robert Parrett as our newest compatriot. During the meeting, Grant Goulet received a Patriot Supplemental, further documenting his Revolutionary War lineage.

America 250 Monthly Moment
As part of our
America 250 Monthly Moment, we featured
Addison Selden’s award-winning essay,
“The Orator of Liberty: Patrick Henry.” Not only did she earn the Jeremiah Clark Chapter Knight Essay Award, but she also delivered an outstanding oration of her essay before the chapter. Her confident presentation and thoughtful reflections on Patrick Henry’s influence captured the spirit of the Revolutionary era. Her application has now been submitted to
MISSAR for state-level judging, and we wish her continued success.
Patriots of Oakland County Outreach
In support of our America 250 educational outreach, the chapter gratefully received a generous donation from
Ron and Tamera Conwell to provide the Clarkston Community School District with
thirteen framed posters of the
Patriots of Oakland County. These framed pieces will be displayed throughout the district’s schools, helping students connect with the local men who served during the American Revolution.
Program
The evening concluded with a presentation by
Michael Wall on
“Reviving Old Photos,” offering valuable insight into restoring and preserving historic images.
As we continue toward America 250, our chapter remains focused on education, recognition, and honoring the legacy of our Patriot ancestors.
