Since 2023, our chapter has upheld and advanced the mission of the Sons of the American Revolution in Clarkston and surrounding communities through education, historical preservation, and patriotic service.

Our Programs

  • America 250
  • During 2026, our country will celebrate its 250th birthday. Our chapter will be participating in commemorating and endorsing this significant event.

  • Patriot Grave Marking
  • The SAR conducts patriot grave marking events to honor the memory of the men and women who served during the American Revolution, preserving their service for future generations.

  • Local Events
  • Our chapter attends and coordinates events related to our American history. From Veteran celebrations to Flag Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day and more.

  • Boy / Eagle Scouts
  • SAR has a strong connection with BSA and backs their programs. Several SAR members are involved in BSA, promoting patriotism and civic responsibility.

  • Youth Awards & Contests
  • Our chapter promotes the SAR Youth Essay Contest in local schools and recognizes outstanding students each year.

  • Genealogy Workshops
  • These events will help people explore their family history through presentations, discussions, and hands-on activities, offering guidance to support their genealogical research.

  • Wreaths Across America
  • Wreaths Across America is a non-profit organization that honors fallen veterans by placing wreaths on their graves.

  • Jeremiah Clark Legacy Project
  • In honor of our chapter namesake, Revolutionary War patriot Jeremiah Clark, we have documented the Clark family lineage and preserved historical records for educational use.
